Latest product photography for Bridgnorth brand Krafty Gifts UK, shooting unprinted products for their personalized digital designs.

Shannon and I first worked together when she modeled for a styled shoot I was photographing. She was an absolute dream to work with and I was so pleased when she got in touch to ask if I’d be available to photograph her headshots for the Miss Great Britain competition. Shannon is already our reigning Miss Black Country, using her title to do some amazing charity work, including for her own charity. Sending all of the positive vibes for the final on Friday!

Ian Charles is the proud stockist of Val B’s Wax Jewellery with a lovely shop front in Central Court in Bridgnorth’s high town (just beside the town hall). For our most recent shoot together, we focused on their Bee Remembered range of memorial jewelry, and set about creating a step-by-step from consultation in their offices right behind the shop, to design and creation of the bespoke pieces.

As I was booked to shoot staff headshots and some BTS of the V&D interiors offices, we hadn't initially planned for me to take any photos of their on-site training space, but as with any on-location session if time allows and the client is happy to let me explore, getting as much content as possible is always a good idea.
Sometimes the things we see every day, the nitty-gritty of a business don't always feel interesting enough to document, let alone to share. But for the people who don't see these things every day -the people who the images are intended for- getting a peek into how things operate can be really informative and useful, particularly when said space is as fantastically kitted out as this one and in the end, those shots we hadn't planned to get, ended up being some of the first ones used in a write-up all about the Training Academy.
Business promotional sessions are an absolute goldmine for producing photographic content and are always better to plan in sooner rather than later (you never know when you'll be featured by someone for something, and need better photos than ones quickly snapped on your phone). From staff headshots, behind-the-scenes, production detail, location shots and product photography, shoots like these are a fantastic investment and rarely take as long as you'd think.
If you wouldn't mind having me hanging around for a few hours to capture all that makes your business what it is, get in touch via the contact page and let's chat.

I first worked with Duncan to photograph Lavender Cottage, a gorgeous Airbnb property in Astley Abbotts Bridgnorth, and during the lockdown, its neighbor property The Drying Shed was converted into this wonderful little hideaway just a short distance from Bridgnorth's High Street.

Reachout Arts turned 5 this summer and invited me along to their birthday party celebrations to take some shots of the party and their creative wonderland of a HQ up on Faraday Drive Bridgnorth.

Val & Ian were married at Shrewsbury Registry Office before heading to Bridgnorth for photos in the Castle Gardens before heading to Bridgnorth's Castle Hall for their reception with a very special guest appearance from the newlywed's bandmates from Bewedly Concert Band

Some technical work photographing a catalog of fabric samples for the Onlyway Dress. Colour accuracy and being able to capture the texture of the fabric were absolutely key for this session and as is often the case with still life photography, the most simple tasks are often the most challenging.

Sue & Jason’s wedding marked my second wedding at The Wroxeter Hotel in a month but this time was approximately 1 thousand degrees hotter. So while the ceremony still took place indoors, the wedding breakfast took place outside, under the shade of a huge Sycamore on the grounds of the venue which was perfect. With kiddos in attendance, the Bride sourced a giant inflatable slide and some lawn games to keep them entertained and a band to play and a tractor to take the guests on rides around the nearby country lanes.

A recent collab session with haircare brand Organics by Hannah. I absolutely loved this mini shoot. So simple, but so much fun.
