Ian Charles Jewellers is based in a beautiful shop in Bridgnorth's Central Court and proudly stocks stunning pieces by Val B's Wax. Earlier this month I was invited along to photograph the exciting launch of this brand new Bridgnorth Business with the ribbon cutting by our very own Mayor Sarah Barlow.
C.V.V Art
C.V.V Art makes beautiful, abstract, alcohol ink art pieces and initially got in touch to commission some photographic reproductions of their paintings to be able to use their digital versions to create products featuring the paintings as designs. This was a first for me, and with the paintings having metallic qualities I knew it was going to take a combination of technical photography and post-production to capture this.
Charlotte only required 3 prints, and so I asked her to bring along some other products to be photographed as mini-sessions allow for more than 3 products and so I was fortunate enough to also get my hands on some of her stunning custom Christmas decorations and trinket dishes.
Pawfect Delights Christmas
Christmas is coming and for me, September always marks the start of the festive season as I start shooting products ready for winter launches. Pawfect Delights were the first in line with their newly updated advent calendars available in a mix and match of beautiful, handmade (and decorated!) dog biscuits and chocolates.

Pawfect Delights does Halloween
It's Spooky Season and while we technically did the Christmas shoot first, my sense of order requires that I share our Halloween images from the latest seasonal mini shoot for Pawfect Delights while we're in the right month for it (and no, the fact that it was our 13th shoot was not lost on me).
Autumn
Playing with digital illustration and photography using some draft images taken for a gig pitch at the beginning of the year. It's not something I typically get the chance to do for work, but I had so much fun using photoshop for something creative to make my daughter smile while we were at home over the summer!
Chouxlicious Event
Along with their incredibly popular afternoon tea delivery service, Chouxlicious will also cater and set up stunning dessert and charcuterie tables for events. I recently tagged along with them to such an event, shooting some set up and behind the scenes as Nicola did her thing, setting up the most mouthwatering summertime feast for a very lucky client's birthday party.
The Balm Pantry 2 - Portraits
For the second part of this little mini blog series featuring my latest photoshoot for The Balm Pantry, we're looking at branding portraits.
In my opinion, personal branding portraits are one of the most valuable investments you can have for your business. It can be tempting to shy away from the camera, and as a creative myself I can totally appreciate the urge to let your creations take centre stage and speak for themselves. But as small businesses, it's our individuality, our humanity that draws our clients and customers to us, what encourages them to choose us over Big Brands, and so getting to know the person behind the business, your space and your process is essential.
These types of sessions don't have to be posed or awkward. I believe natural images of you in the environment that inspires your work, while you do your thing, is the perfect way to give your followers, clients, and customers an authentic glimpse of who you are, what inspires, influences, and motivates you and your work.
In the case of The Balm Pantry, their beautiful home nestled in the Shropshire Hills, surrounded by natural beauty, wildlife and their wonderful pets speaks volumes about why sustainability and natural ingredients are the cornerstone of everything they create.

This time we also worked on highlighting differences between various beading options, edge types and detailing along with overall veil length.
