Relaxed Family Portrait Session in Bridgnorth
I don't market myself as a family portait photographer because I feel that to be one, it's best to have a studio, which I don't. But when the circumstances are right, and if I feel like my style of portrait photography suits what a family have in mind, then I'll do it, because I know as a parent myself, how fleeting all the gorgeousness of baby and toddlerhood is and wouldn't want to deny preserving those beautiful memories.
For me, capturing a child's personality is the most important thing about a photoshoot, what they're wearing, where they are or how they sit is secondary. If they're boistrous or shy, precocious or cheeky, rambunctious or anxious that's all okay. If they're happier halfway up a tree or cuddled up on their parent's lap or hiding behind their favourite teddy, it's who they are at that moment in their lives, and it's a good thing that we can look back at that and remember them as they truly were. When I look back at my favourite pictures of my own children, it's always the ones I caught of them engaged in some activity, or interacting with eachother, or talking animatedly, midsentence about something awesome, that make my heart melt.
So I don't force children into poses for the sake of composition or formality, won't force them to look at me, wont insist on dragging out a session past the point of enjoyment for the sake of a 'perfect' shot. And it's absolutely okay that not everybody wants to risk spending their money on a session that doesn't guarentee a perfectly polished picture of their child.
But if you aren't after perfection, if your kid is happier doing their own thing, getting muddy or pretending to be a princess or walking the dog or pulling faces or even just hanging out in the living room like these two gorgeous cousins, then get in touch and let's chat.
Goodwood Homecare
At the end of last year I met up with the lovely team at Goodwood Homecare to take some business promotional images for their website overhaul. Opting for a personable, lifestyle approach to the session, we met up with some of GoodWood's carers and clients for a little afternoon trip into Bridgnorth Highstreet to grab some shots of the team in action before heading back to their offices to take some headshots.

Pawfect Delights 2
After meeting the faces behind the brand in our business branding portrait shoot, I headed home with some products to shoot some e-commerce images for their website and store update.
Pawfect Delights home-bake nutritious, gluten free, vegan dog biscuits and training treats to keep your dog healthy and happy. All of their products are made to order with lots of personalised and seasonal gift options so make sure to head to their site to see their full range of designs and flavours.

In my first time working with the wonderful Pawfect Delights we headed to the Bridgnorth's Castle Gardens do to a quick portrait shoot for the very pups who inspired the brand.
Wedding Lux
Wedding Lux are a Bridgnorth based business who create beautiful personalised table decor for Weddings and events.
In an absolutely mamouth catalogue shoot I photographed hundreds of individual pieces styled into 4 collections using gorgeous props from the Wedding Lux team.
Working with small, clear and mirrored acyrlic pieces using studio lighting proved to be quite the learning experience in order to create the sharp, high resolution product images that were required, but being able to play around with mood lighting (and to finally have an excuse to put my modifiers to good use) made it more than worth it.
Wizard Express 2019
On Monday Rory and I took a ride on the Wizard Express!
Beginning at Bridgnorth's Severn Valley Railway station we, along with a whole host of spectacularly dressed up guests boarded our steam train and opened up our invitations to be sorted into our houses.
On the train we were entertained by the fantastic sorcerer Cosmo who wowed us with his close up magic tricks while the Trolley Witches handed out sweets and their tragically teenage assistant gave us our wands.
When we arrived at Highley's station we were greeted by our house prefects and lef to the Engine House which set the stage for wizarding school. Inside we took part in our magical education with a variety of classes led by a host of professors before the final graduation.
Every single moment of the day was so incredibly thought out, from the sets, props, costumes and each character's rich and perfectly performed story team Reachout thought of everything to make the experience as emersive as possible. There wasn't a single performer I met who wasn't totally in character the entire time, even after the kids and their parents had moved onto the next class, and I hung back to take some extra scenery shots, the actors continued on as their witch and wizard selves, and it was amazing.
If you get the opportunity to pay a visit next year, you certainly won't regret it.

Lola & Amy
In the summer Lola (of the wonferdul LunaLovesStore) got in touch to arrange some family portraits of her daughter, neice and nephew as a gift for their grandparent's anniversary. We chose a day in the summer holidays and headed to Bridgnorth's Castle Gardens for a stroll around the park, a little bit of tree climbing and I even managed to talk their moms into getting into a few photos, because mother's so rarely end up in photos and I won't stand for it. We're important too, and when said moms are as gorgeous as this pair, it would be a crime to leave them out. <3
Sam & Ali
Sam & Alistair were married on a beautiful summer's day in August. The ceremony took place at Church of St John the Baptist, a stones throw from the main vanue at Kinlet Hall which was beautifully decorated by a host of local creatives (including the bride's lovely sister, Hollie) to fit the Bride & Groom's rural themed wedding.
There was also a fair amount of cheerleading, because well, why wouldn't there be?
